JOHN WINSTON ONO LENNON

9/10/1940-8/12/1980

THIS IS A TRIBUTE TO A MAN WHO STOOD FOR LOVE AND PEACE, AND WHOSE MUSIC CHANGED THE WORLD AND WAS AN INSIPIRATION TO ALL. I WOULD SIMPLY TO RECOGNISE HIS TALENT AND EVERYTHING HE STOOD FOR. HE DESERVED A LONGER AND BETTER LIFE. HE WAS A LEGEND.

Here is a poem that I wrote.
WINSTON
He Imagined a world which could not extend
Beyond one's field of thought and fantasy.
He urged the world to Come Together
For the sake of endless peace and love.
He brought the musical world to Revolution,
A true legend in his own write.

But on one long, Hard Day's Night, while the moon
Shone down on the satan's window pane,
The angel of death got his way
And the demon's laughter shook the hearts
Of those who follow Winston's ways.
He shall remain in Strawberry Fields Forever.
